Hi! My name is Connie Halcom, the proud owner of Rainbow Toy Poodles.  For more than 22 years I have been raising toy poodles which led to my passion 12 years ago of showing toy poodles to there championship title. 

Because my dogs are raised in our home, they are considered a part of our family. I also firmly believe that a healthy dog is a happy dog so I include herbs, vitamins and a Life Abundance, a premium dog food, that you can learn more about on the helpful hints page.  Of course, plenty of fresh air and exercise are also important.

Although there are many wonderful AKC champion breeders across the country, there are also, unfortunately, many unscrupulous breeders,  SO BUYER BEWARE!  I am constantly upgrading my toy poodle bloodlines and have DNA and PRA testing on most of my toy poodles.  I raise both show quality toy poodles and toy poodle pets in several colors but concentrate mostly on silver, white and reds.  Currently, I am working to breed a white "dry-eyed" smaller toy poodle line.  Most importantly, I breed for QUALITY, not quantity.

 I may not always have puppies on demand.  I believe in rotating my breeding program so that my females are rested every third heat cycle.  However, I have friends and partners who also raise Quality Toy Poodles so if I don't have puppies at the moment, they usually do. If you are willing to be patient and wait for one of my puppies, you can rest assured that the wait will be well worth it.  If you purchase a K-9 friend from me, you can be confident in the knowledge that I will always be here to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your furry new K-9 family member.
